SERIX is a stand alone mixer with integrated matrix and DSP, but it can also be connected to a central Mandozzi matrix. In this case, the SERIX mixers remotely control the matrix in order to select the input and output connections, for intercom connections between the mixers, as well as to remotely control the microphone pre-amplifiers, the mute and the GPIO of the other mixers. SERIX can also control, via the central matrix, a pool of hybrids and codecs.

The SERIX mixer is composed of:

with modules of four faders each, the central module for managing the mixer, possibly ancillary modules with additional keys and knobs, and the touch screen.

(MIXBRAIN) with 1 to 3 PCIMIX modules, each one with a 2'048 x 2'048 matrix and the DSP modules for 24 faders.

(MIXIO) with the interfaces for up to 128 inputs and 128 outputs and 64 GPIO. Up to four concentrators can be cascaded.

that allows the user to freely allocate the functions of the keys and knobs, and the display texts.

Along every fader there are LEDs to indicate the level (input or n-1) and the attenuation due to compressing.

38 stereo sums with the following inputs: 24 faders (pre or post fader) plus 4 external inputs. Every one of these sums includes:

Gain, stereo-mono conversion, compressor/limiter.

Possibility to connect the sum as pre or post fader (with separate gain adjustment).

The output level can be displayed on the screen (one sum at a time).

These sums can be used as master sums (2 to 8), Aux (4 to 24), group (0 to 8), PFL (1 to 4), recording (0 to 1), n-1 (quantity equal to the number of faders), sum of the presenter desk, surround master (requires 6 sum busses).

SERIX generates 5.1 signals from a mono or stereo signal, with easily operated panning.

An external mono signal or an external 5.1 signal can be mixed with the internally generated surround signal.
